Bible Kids is a storybook app made for young children and the grown-ups who read with them. It is private by design.
The child's first name, boy/girl selection and avatar, an optional photo used to make a storybook character (processed on the device and never uploaded), and favorites/reading preferences are all stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all of it.
The app uses the camera or photo library only when you choose to create a character. The picture is processed entirely on the device to make a friendly storybook character and never leaves the device.
Stories can be read aloud using your device's built-in text-to-speech, on the device. No text or audio is sent anywhere.
The optional Bible browser fetches public-domain Bible text (King James Version and Bible in Basic English) from our content server. These requests contain only the book/chapter you are viewing — never your child's name, photo, or any device identifier.
Bible Kids is designed for children. We use no tracking or advertising and collect no personal information. Actions that leave the app are placed behind a grown-up gate. This is consistent with COPPA and the EU/UK GDPR provisions for children.
Because everything stays on your device, deleting the app removes all of it.
Questions about this policy can be sent through the app's App Store support page.
